These remind me a bit of the flares from the 70's with the high waist and being so fitted in the waist area but roomy in the legs. They really hit you at the smallest point on your mid-section and they're very stretchy and comfortable! For us shorter girls, we will have to wear heels or have them hemmed or trimmed to a raw edge.
